The bold colors mixed with the romantic pinks and greens bring a fun mix to this wedding scheme. I love the brides shoes of red for a hint of style and flair, and the vibrant flowers in the hair add another fun splash.
To me, there is something personal when a couple decides to go a little non-traditional and incooperates a style of their own. I think if anything, this only adds to the overall beauty of a wedding and how much thought was put into it for their guests enjoyment as well as their own.
Sometimes I think we relay too much on others choices and opinions instead of trusting ourselves in our visions. Can there be too much color? Yes. You do want to be sure that you have a central focal point, or at least something that brings it all together. I find that in this wedding scheme, I could envision an outdoor celebration under a beautiful tent of white with lights and colored lanterns with the green grass underneath grounding everything.
I could also see this being a fun "Carnival" style celebration theme or even a remote "Country Romance" theme complete with white twinkling lights. It is easy to incooperate your personal style into your theme ~ just be cautious of that old adage of "too much really is just too much".
Sometimes I think we have to say "Why Not?" in order to make sure your wedding day portrays your sense of style ~ complete with fashion, flair and fun.
Wishes,
Amy
