It’s been a busy week for Twig Travel with a wonderful highlight of traveling to Bloomfield Hills, MI for a Wedding Wire Conference. Between a lot of work and a little bit of playing, it was a wonderful time.

I was lucky enough to stay at the Radisson Hotel http://www.radisson.com/bloomfield-hills-hotel-mi-48304/mibloomf (http://www.clubcarlson.com) where it’s so wonder I didn’t just stay in bed and sleep through everything. Their sleep number beds, comfortable balcony rooms complete with bathroom toiletries, hairdryer, bottled water, coffee maker, complimentary newspapers, mini-refrigerator, room service, Super Nintendo (although I really didn’t get a chance to play Mario - darn), in-room internet, bathrobes, a beautiful courtyard amongst many other amenities, could be enough to entice anyone not to leave.

Upon checking-in their concierge was kind enough to offer his services; including to carry my one bag. Of course, I couldn’t stay in my room and had to venture out to their 24 hour work out room, a swimming pool complete with hot tub, and they also have spectacular restaurant venue. Their restaurants are courtesy of the locally renowned Matt Prentice Restaurant Group http://www.mattprenticerg.com/ with Deli Unique, a tavern and their restaurant, Northern Lakes Seafood Company http://www.mattprenticerg.com/northernlakesseafoodcompany.html where everything was absolutely delicious, but I have to say, the lobster bisque was out of this world!!! I most definitely need the recipe!!!

So, after all this investigation, it was off to the Iroquois Club http://www.theiroquoisclub.com for a wonderful conference with http://www.weddingwire.com and local Wedding Pros. Let me first say, walking into the Iroquois Club was like walking through a magical door. The ambiance was marvelous along with their wonderful hors devourers and servers.

From the greetings, the interior design, the tables set with candles, low lighting, background music and entertainment provided by http://www.startrax.com/, and even more cookies, cakes, and other treats provided by http://www.sweetheatheranne.com/. One couldn’t walk away without a smile on their face and The Metropolitan Gallery of Photography http://www.themetropolitangallery.com/ was sure to capture all the wonderful moments
